Service Program Manager - Mobile PET/CT

Position Overview

This is a role well suited to a senior technical leader seeking to make a lasting impact on Siemens Healthineers’ Mobile PET (Biograph) business in North America.

As the Manager, Mobile PET Program Management, you will serve as both a technical subject matter expert and a program leader, accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of our mobile PET fleet. This includes the transition and launch of new mobile systems, the ongoing preventive and reactive maintenance of units in the field, and the development of standardized, scalable processes to ensure long-term success.

Mobile systems operate across multiple regions and service areas, requiring strong coordination to ensure continuity of service between zones, timely escalation management, and effective cross-functional alignment. You will also lead the integration of IT-enabled digital solutions such as centralized dispatch, mobile networking, remote troubleshooting, and secure image transfer—ensuring the business is positioned for scalability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This role requires technical depth, process leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales, service, factory teams, vendors, and regional leadership to deliver sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the transition, implementation, and lifecycle management of Siemens Healthineers’ Mobile PET fleet across North America.Ensure continuity of service across regions and zones, collaborating with Zone Vice Presidents, Regional Service Managers, Remote Service Specialists, and Customer Service Engineers.Define and enforce standardized processes for installation, preventive and reactive maintenance, updates, safety protocols, and spare parts logistics.Serve as the technical subject matter expert, working with factory teams to ensure mobile-specific requirements are fully integrated into documentation, updates, and service instructions.Drive the digital enablement of mobile operations, including centralized dispatch, mobile networking, remote troubleshooting, error log analysis, and secure image transfer solutions.Manage escalations for mobile service issues, coordinating corrective and preventive actions with internal teams and external operators.Support training and capability development for field engineers, dispatchers, and applications staff to strengthen mobile-specific expertise.Maintain accuracy of installed base data in systems such as PEAK and SAP; implement corrective actions where required.Establish KPIs, governance frameworks, and reporting cadences to track program performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or related field (Associate’s degree with equivalent experience considered).Minimum 5 years of experience with mobile medical imaging systems (PET/CT strongly preferred) in service, operations, or vendor management.Strong technical knowledge of mobile imaging systems, trailers, and supporting infrastructure.Experience with IT-enabled service solutions such as centralized dispatch, remote diagnostics, and workflow integration.Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs and implement scalable processes in a complex, matrixed organization.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

Professional certifications such as PMP, CBET, or CHTM.Familiarity with Siemens Healthineers imaging systems and mobile service practices.Experience with Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $104,000 - Max $156,000

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
