Additional InformationThe Service Porter is responsible for supporting the service department by moving, cleaning, and organizing vehicles, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting service advisors, technicians, and customers as needed. This role ensures smooth service operations and a positive customer experience by handling vehicles with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Handling & Organization:
Safely move customer vehicles to and from service lanes, technician work bays, and parking areas.
Park and organize vehicles in designated areas to maintain an orderly lot.
Deliver vehicles to customers after service is complete.
Customer Service:
Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner upon arrival.
Assist customers in locating their vehicles upon pick-up.
Provide prompt and courteous assistance as directed by service advisors or management.
Vehicle Care:
Perform light cleaning of vehicles, including washing exterior and vacuuming interior when necessary.
Inspect vehicles for damage before and after service and report any issues to management immediately.
Facility & Equipment Maintenance:
Keep service drive, shop, and customer waiting areas clean and free of hazards.
Empty trash, maintain shop cleanliness, and ensure proper placement of tools and equipment.
Assist with service department deliveries, errands, and parts transportation as requested.
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
