The Service Porter is a key member of our service department. This position involves supporting the service team by organizing vehicles, maintaining the dealership's lot, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Handling: Move vehicles in and out of the service department safely and efficiently.

Lot Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly lot, ensuring that vehicles are parked in their designated spaces.

Customer Assistance: Assist customers with vehicle check-ins, guiding them to the service department as needed.

General Maintenance: Keep the dealership’s exterior areas clean, including washing vehicles, sweeping, and tidying up service bays.

Inventory Support: Assist with inventory management by ensuring that vehicle keys are properly tagged and stored.

Team Collaboration: Support technicians and service advisors by performing various tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all vehicles are handled and moved in accordance with safety standards and dealership policies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.

Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as necessary. Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.

License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
