General Profile
We are seeking a driven Parts Associate with a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience working with automotive or diesel parts in a warehouse or parts distribution environment.
Core Responsibilities
+ Assist internal and external Distribution Business customers, technicians, and parts personnel with securing necessary parts and supplies.
+ Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and use required PPE.
+ Manage customer counter duties, including answering calls, assisting walk-in customers, completing paperwork, and processing cash/check/credit transactions.
+ Maintain professional relationships by addressing customer needs promptly; escalate issues when needed.
+ Keep the customer parts counter and warehouse clean and organized.
+ Lead or support parts personnel in sourcing complex parts or finding suitable alternatives.
+ Use systems, catalogs, diagrams, and technician collaboration to identify and procure parts efficiently.
+ Support management in training and mentoring junior or less-experienced parts personnel.
+ Participate in process improvement initiatives; may lead smaller portions of projects.
+ Identify opportunities to upsell related products and services.
+ Perform warehouse and inventory tasks including:
+ Daily inventory assistance
+ Shipping and receiving
+ Pulling parts from shelves
+ Stocking new inventory
+ Processing parts warranties
+ Returning part cores
+ Managing stock levels
+ General warehouse duties as assigned
Desired Skills & Additional Qualifications
+ Attention to detail
+ Forklift experience (preferred)
+ Automotive or diesel experience
+ Ability to identify parts using diagrams
+ Strong customer focus and communication skills
+ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Education & Certifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ May require export control or sanctions compliance licensing.
Experience
+ Significant relevant work experience OR specialized skills gained through training or on-the-job experience.
