This is a full-time, hourly, 2nd or 3rd shift position.
 Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailersCertification of performing A/C freon recovery and recharging, perform repairs on A/C Perform brake repairsTroubleshoot and repair electrical systemsMount and dismount tiresPerform diagnostics with laptop computerComponent replacement starters, alternators, and batteriesCosmetic repairs, decals, reflective tape, fenders, and bumpersPressure test hydraulic systems and hose replacementPerform Annual DOT inspections on tractors and trailers Rebuild componentsTo be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:Follow and promote safe work environment.Maintain a good attendance record. (No more than 3 days unexcused absent in calendar year).Maintain good communications with all Trucking personnel.Ability to work well with others.Maintains good housekeeping.Ability to understand and perform assigned job tasks easily within employee’s classification.Perform job task within job standard time of classification.Ability to perform job tasks by understanding and following work procedures.Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems that apply to employee’s classification.Ability to pass all test required of classification.Before applying for an exempt, non-exempt or hourly job opportunity, you are expected to initiate position for more than 18 months, supervisor approval is not required.  a discussion and share your intentions with your supervisor.  * If you’ve been in your current * If you’ve been in your current position for less than 18 months, verbal supervisor approval is required.   ​
