Fountain Tire Chilliwack is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable Service Manager to manage the operations of the mechanical service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

 As a Service Manager, your duties will include:

Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activitiesEnsuring completion of shop maintenance and repair workAddressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional mannerAdvising technicians of work that must be completedEnsuring technicians compliance with company standards regarding quality, safety, and customer serviceManaging the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customersOrdering Parts for mechanical jobsMaintain Inventory levels for oils & filtersCreate work orders, arrange bookings, and communicate them to technicians.Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.

Our ideal candidate has/is:

2+ years of professional experience as a Service Manager or Service Advisor requiredKnowledge of mechanical services & partsEffective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processesHigh level of integrity and accountabilityA customer service focusAbility to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customersStrong communication, and interpersonal skillsContinuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvementsFlexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules
