Summary of the role
X-Ray and Test Division EMEA Service Manager leads a passionate team of Field Service Engineers who are focused on delivering exceptional service and support across the EMEA region for distributors and key customers.
In this role, you’ll:
• Lead and coordinate all field service, technical support, and administrative activities across EMEA.
• Drive customer satisfaction through timely, solution-oriented support.
• Collaborate globally with service managers in other regions to ensure a consistent, world-class customer experience.
• Support business growth by managing high-impact projects and minimizing operational risks.

Role and Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
o Supervise, lead, and coach the Field Service Team.
o Conduct performance evaluations and resolve personnel issues.
o Provide guidance to achieve goals in line with company policies.
o Provide feedback on cross-functional initiatives which impact the Service Experience for your team and our customers.
2. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
o Partner with Customer Service and Commercial teams to ensure alignment and deliver an excellent customer experience.
o Respond to customer complaints and participate in key customer meetings
o Visit customer sites to understand needs and support sales interactions.
3. Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
o Set, monitor & coach to Service Focused KPI to drive a continuous improvement mindset into the team.
o Manage external SLA’s, ensuring timely responses and adherence to scope.
o Maintain records and reporting systems; use data to drive improvements and strategy.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work with product, market, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
o Participate in integrations and support new product introductions.
5. Financial & Strategic Planning
o Plan, review, and manage regional budgets.
o Contribute to financial discussions and strategic decision-making.
Skills and Qualifications
• Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of field related transactions
• Proven skills in customer interactions with profound sense of urgency and ownership, based on dedication and drive to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent facilitation, problem resolution, and cross-group collaboration.
• Supervisor experience with support-level functional teams.
• Strong understanding and or hands-on experience with field service, customer service, manufacturing, global logistics.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hungarian, both written and oral.
• Strong time management and delegation skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and critically.
Travel
• Estimated travel is app. 20%.
