Evoqua, providing best in class water solutions The **Evoqua** **Service Manager** is responsible for directing the operations of the technician department, ensuring projects are completed successfully, resources are effectively managed, and the team operates safely and efficiently. This role combines leadership, project management, and technical oversight to drive operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities** **Supervision & Team Management - 11 direct reports** + Lead and manage a team of engineering technicians. + Assign tasks, set goals/KPIs, and monitor performance. + Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to support professional growth. + Conduct performance evaluations and address disciplinary matters. + Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment. **Project Management** + Collaborate with engineers to plan, schedule, and execute projects. + Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines. + Track progress, resolve challenges, and ensure deadlines are met. + Provide updates and reports to stakeholders and upper management. **Quality Control** + Develop and implement quality control procedures. + Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards. + Address quality issues through corrective actions. + Maintain records and documentation of quality processes. **Equipment & Inventory Management** + Oversee inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies. + Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and calibration of equipment. + Ensure equipment functionality and recommend new purchases when needed. **Safety & Compliance** + Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols. + Conduct safety training and audits. + Identify and mitigate safety hazards. + Maintain documentation for compliance requirements. **Communication & Collaboration** + Coordinate with engineers, departments, and stakeholders to align efforts. + Facilitate problem-solving and technical troubleshooting. + Maintain open, transparent communication with team members. + Provide regular status updates to leadership. **High-Impact Behaviors** + **Strategic Decision-Making:** Assess complex situations, consider long-term implications, and align actions with company goals. + **Effective Communication:** Articulate vision, expectations, and feedback clearly while actively listening and encouraging input. + **Fostering Growth:** Mentor and invest in team development, promoting continuous learning and career advancement. **Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position** **The estimated salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 110,000.00 USD Annual plus bonus.   Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.** **\#LI-JRT05** Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
