Job Title: Service Manager – Technical, Aftermarket Service (Rotating Equipment - Grinding Solutions, Air Pollution Control)

Role Purpose
The Service Manager will manage PAN-India GS systems & equipment service operations, covering installation, commissioning, breakdown support, spares sales, and service revenue growth for equipment and engineered systems.
Key Responsibilities
Project Installation & Commissioning Support
• Own end-to-end installation, commissioning, and support for GS systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Sales teams for smooth execution and handover.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, safety norms, and contractual obligations.
PAN-India Service Operations
• Lead service delivery including breakdown response, preventive maintenance, shutdown support, and warranty services.
• Act as the escalation point for critical site issues and key customers.
• Ensure high equipment uptime and responsiveness across installations.
Service Revenue Growth
• Own service revenue targets aligned with business plans.
• Identify aftermarket opportunities including consumables, wear parts, retrofits, and upgrades.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Build and manage a multi-location service team.
• Define skill matrices and training plans aligned to product portfolio.
• Drive a culture of ownership, safety, and customer focus.
Process Excellence & Governance
• Standardize SOPs, commissioning protocols, and workflows.
• Implement MIS dashboards for MTTR, failures, spares usage, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead RCA and corrective actions with internal teams.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
• Build strong relationships with plant heads and stakeholders.
• Represent the organization during commissioning, shutdowns, and reviews.
• Support audits and technical discussions.
Technical Expertise Required
• Experience with rotating equipment: blowers, fans, compressors, pumps, motors, gearboxes.
• Knowledge of alignment, balancing, vibration analysis, commissioning, and diagnostics.
• Exposure to project installations and aftermarket support in engineering industries.
Desired Candidate Profile
• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 10–15 years in service operations, aftermarket, and spares management in engineering MNCs.
• Experience in managing service revenue and PAN-India operations.
• Strong leadership, execution, and commercial acumen.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
