As the Service Manager – Energy & Carbon (ECS), you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and driving customer satisfaction in Solar and EV operations and maintenance. Acting as a subject matter expert, you’ll manage daily operations, ensure service excellence, and collaborate with diverse clients and teams to shape the future of renewable energy.  As with driving execution, a strong project management and organizational skillset is required.

 

Responsibilities:

Drive superior customer service to ensure retention and satisfaction.Oversee field service activities, ensuring quality through doing it right the first time.Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance team performance.Build and lead a cross-functional team of Field Technicians delivering commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency response services.Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.Serve as Subject Matter Expert on renewable energy services, supporting sales and collaborating with the Global Operations Manager, Energy & Carbon for project quoting and contracting.Drive revenue growth through strategic service offerings and operational best practices.Own the customer interface and look to upsell ABB’s skillset and offeringsManage key projects and deliverables and execute within the financial budget of the contract

Background:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.At least five (5) years of experience in solar services and operations.Proven experience managing cross-functional teams of technicians.Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and develop team members.Exceptional critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.Ability to plan effectively and allocate resources while adhering to safety guidelines.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.

 

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $138,800 and $222,080 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus
