Service Lead, Insurance Sector
Are you ready to take the lead in one of CGI’s key client partnerships within Finland’s insurance sector? We are looking for an experienced Service Lead to take ownership of the service delivery for one of CGI’s strategic clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a client-facing leadership role where you’ll ensure the smooth delivery of our broad portfolio of services – with a strong focus on application management and production support, delivered by CGI experts across multiple countries.
Responsibility
As a Service Lead, you play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality delivery and seamless collaboration across stakeholders. You will:
• Oversee CGI’s end-to-end service delivery for the client.
• Act as the single point of contact for day-to-day operational services.
• Manage services together with our Service Delivery Directors and Managers across business areas.
• Work closely with other vendors in the client ecosystem to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Take a lead role in performance monitoring, service tracking, and governance, including participation in steering group meetings.
• Serve as the main escalation point for the client, report on agreed metrics, address urgent issues, and drive process and quality improvements.
• Monitor and manage service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring delivery excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.
Your future team
You will join a skilled and supportive CGI team serving one of Finland’s leading insurance companies. This role is primarily based at our client’s premises in Espoo and the main working language is English.
What we expect from you
We expect you to bring at least 7 years of experience in leading large IT service teams in application management, along with solid knowledge and experience in:
• Application development processes and methods
• Application management, maintenance, and support processes
• Sourcing services and resources
• Agile way of working
In addition to your expertise, we appreciate:

• A positive, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong collaboration and interaction skills
• Excellent management abilities
• Fluency in English and Finnish (both written & spoken)
• Previous experience in financial services and global delivery models
