First Student is hiring immediately for a Service Employee for our New Britain, CT location serving New Britain Public Schools!

This role supports both maintenance and operations teams and plays an essential role in keeping service running safely and efficiently.

Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

About the Service Employee Position

As a Service Employee, you will help maintain fleet readiness by supporting daily vehicle care and yard operations.

Responsibilities include:

Fueling buses and checking fluid levels

Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles

Performing basic facility and yard maintenance

Safely moving and parking buses within the yard

Assisting technicians and operations staff as needed

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Supporting overall operational readiness of the fleet
