Service Employee

About the Role
The Service Employee supports our Maintenance Department by fueling and servicing school buses, activity buses, and commercial vehicles. Responsibilities include dispensing fuel, checking fluid levels, maintaining accurate records, stocking supplies, and coordinating bus flow for safe operations. Light building and grounds maintenance may also be required.

Key ResponsibilitiesOpen yard gates and ensure buses are positioned for timely dispatch; reposition as neededMaintain accurate records and complete reports (Bulk Fuel Receiving, Fuel Variance, Month-End Closing, Meter Calibration)Notify the Location Manager when fuel delivery is required; record stick readings before and after deliveryCheck and top up fluids (oil, antifreeze, power steering, transmission, brake, washer) and inspect belts during fuelingPerform light interior and exterior bus maintenance as requiredCarry out other tasks as directed by management
