We are making every move count We at Kalmar are currently seeking aService Delivery Lead, Procurementto lead a team of procurement specialists in performing transactional procurement and related support activities. This role will be responsible for managing the service delivery of the team in alignment with corporate and business area procurement goals, as well as meeting customers' needs and expectations. The position also includes local managerial support for other Sofia-based sourcing team members and serving as the procurement representative on the Bulgaria leadership team. Main tasks and responsibilities + Lead, manage, and organize the purchasing, support, and admin teams, ensuring the execution of indirect procurement requisition-to-receipt (RTR) processes for EU, APAC, and USA teams. + Represent Kalmar Procurement and Sourcing in the Bulgaria Leadership Team. + Provide local support and guidance to Bulgaria-based sourcing team members who report into the wider Sourcing organization. + Oversee transactional procurement activities, including but not limited to: processing and validating Purchase Requisitions (PRs), managing Purchase Orders (POs), handling purchasing document changes and cancellations, performing receipting and returns, managing catalogues, operational reporting, and delivering helpdesk services. + Coordinate supporting activities, including (but not limited to) helpdesk services for internal and external customers, as well as reporting and analytics services for Kalmar Sourcing and Purchasing teams. + Identify unusual events or recurring issues and work with team members to resolve them. + Ensure service delivery aligns with agreed controls and procedures. + In collaboration with Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Process Excellence teams within the Driving Excellence strategy pillar, propose and implement improvements to processes, procedures, and technologies across Source-to-Pay (STP) and vendor master data. + Support Solution Owners and Process Owners in the continuous improvement and implementation of relevant programs, policies, and procedures. + Support, motivate, and develop team members, fostering a culture of learning and engagement. + Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, corporate and business area procurement teams, and internal process teams. + Manage team resources effectively based on skills, workload, and availability. + Monitor and manage team performance, develop KPIs and SLAs, and manage customer expectations. + Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives; implement improvement programs as needed. + Act as the second-line support for complex employee inquiries, escalating issues when necessary. + Promote a customer-centric culture and ensure high-quality service delivery. + Provide timely and accurate reporting according to the agreed reporting schedule. + Serve as the first point of escalation for transactional procurement issues. + Maintain a consistent focus on customer satisfaction. + Participate in transition activities when applicable: + Support the functional workstream + Support the transition of processes incl. knowledge transfer and work shadowing What you’ll need to succeed Education: + Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business. Experience: + Minimum 5 years of experience in the Source-to-Pay (STP) area, with a focus on transactional procurement and procurement support tasks in a multi-site, multinational company. Competencies: + Proven experience in a managerial role. + Skilled in handling both simple and complex queries. + Knowledge of related process areas such as Source-to-Contract (STC) and Invoice-to-Pay (ITP) is an advantage. + Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills. + Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. + Knowledge of budget, risk, cost, and performance management. + Hands-on experience with procurement solutions in the Requisition-to-Receipt area, particularly Ivalua and Sievo, is preferred. + Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). + Proactive and takes initiative to improve individual and team work practices. + Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English. + Able to communicate clearly and professionally. + Demonstrates a strong work ethic and adherence to internal controls and policies. + International mindset with the ability to work effectively in a global environment. + Able to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
