Service Delivery Center, SAP Integration - Analyst

 

The Opportunity

Our objective is to provide clients with a unique business perspective on how to leverage SAP technology to improve their operations.  This is rooted in EY’s SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch and SuccessFactors) that are focused on helping clients improve performance and increase productivity.

 

We are seeking to expand our team at the San Antonio SDC by hiring resources to establish a new integration concentration. This initiative aims to address the growing demand for expertise in traditional SAP integration, BTP Integration, and non-SAP integration technologies, including MuleSoft, Orderful, Apexanalytix, and Sterling Integrator.

 

A top performing Staff Application Systems Engineer will have the ability to design, develop, troubleshoot and deploy integration solutions between various SAP and non-SAP systems. They will have the ability to multi-task between assignments on different engagements, and manifest strong interpersonal skills that allow for effective communications with fellow EY and client team members.

 

Skills and attributes for success

Assist in requirements gathering, analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment of SAP integration solutions. Demonstrate expertise in integration protocols, including API requests, XML, OData service formats, and authorization/authentication mechanisms. Transform design concepts into effective SAP solutions by contributing technical and development expertise within project teams. Provide support in preparing project documentation and presentations. Apply critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills to address challenges in integration projects. Adapt quickly to new knowledge and evolving technologies in the integration landscape, both within SAP and externally. Collaborate within diverse teams, leveraging various skills and backgrounds to enhance project outcomes. Deliver high-quality client services by following best practices in the software development lifecycle, monitoring project progress, and promptly escalating issues to leadership. Build and maintain long-term client relationships and professional networks to foster ongoing collaboration and success. Develop proficiency in Agile methodologies and application development tools.

 

To qualify, you must have

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Strong interest in SAP technologies and integration processes. Understanding of commonly used integration pathways like OData, SOAP, SFTP, JDBC Adapters, XML, webservices, service oriented architecture, APIs etc. Basic understanding of programming concepts; familiarity with languages such as ABAP, Java, or Python is a plus. Experience with other integration tools & platforms is a plus, but not required (e.g. Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica…) Experience developing integration architecture and strategies to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems is preferred Familiarity with security best practices for integrations, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $55,400 to $113,000.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $66,600 to $128,500.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
