Position Description 

Kibali Gold Mine is seeking to recruit Three (3) Trainers - Service Crew to join and grow our team. 

The key duties are for training new and existing service staff to ensure high-quality customer service, operational efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities: 

Deliver hands-on training and coaching to service crew personnel.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.

Assess competency levels and Identify skill gaps.

Conduct on-the-job training for safe and efficient installation of services.

Train crews on correct use of equipment (scissor lifts, ITs, telehandlers, etc.).

Focus training on safes quality of work Manship, and timely execution.

Monitor crew performance and provide feedback.

Support new hires and national development programs.

Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 Standards.

Qualification Requirements:

Previous training or mentoring experience desirable (Train-the-Trainer or Cert IV TAE preferred). 

Experience as an underground service crew member (or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of underground mining operations and safety standards.

Understanding of mine site regulations and statutory requirements

Experience and Skills Requirements:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as an underground service crew member (or equivalent)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to coach, mentor, and assess competency.

High safety awareness and risk management capability.

Problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

Ability to work underground in hot, humid, dusty, and confined environments.

Able to walk long distances, lift equipment, and operate tools when required for demonstration.

Willingness to work shift rosters, including nights and FIFO/DIDO if applicable
