Service Center Technician - TIG, Instrumentation
If you are a Service Center Technician looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting position for you! Based in our Pasadena, TX, location, you will troubleshoot and repair, replace or upgrade Emerson instruments within a regional facility, while ensuring customer expectations are met.   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, repair and assemble Measurement Instruments including pressure, temperature, level, Differential Pressure (DP) flow and Wireless transmitters. Document repair/ testing/ assembly activities to include cause of failure, actions taken, parts used, and labor hours, etc. TIG weld instruments to seals in both direct mount and remote seal applications. Be responsible for Final inspection including completion of inspection reports. Provide customer service communication including providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, status checks and other duties as applicable. Complete various inventory control responsibilities to include stocking shelves, pulling parts, cycle counting, and proper documentation of inventory transactions. Fulfill shipping and receiving duties to include boxing/shipping of repair and sales orders. Palletizing and packaging as applicable. Advocate and follow for all safety, quality, company rules and regulations including responsibility for personal and team safety. You scan the environment for new technical skills, knowledge, or capabilities that benefit business or personal performance. 
  For This Role, You Will Need: Associate's Degree or 1800 hours of technical education or equivalent 3 or more years of experience with instrumentation  Willing to learn TIG Welding  Legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Formal weld certifications and job experience in TIG welding
