Job Description – Service Advisor
The Service Advisor is a frontline customer engagement and consultative sales role focused on educating customers about natural‑based plant health, lawn, tree, and pest care solutions. This position combines customer service, problem‑solving, and sales, with a strong emphasis on empathy, active listening, and delivering a consistent, high‑quality experience in every interaction.
No prior industry experience is required—comprehensive, hands-on training is provided until you are confident and fully productive.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Consultation & Support
+ Conduct needs assessments for lawn, tree, and pest concerns
+ Explain natural-based treatment options in clear, easy-to-understand terms
+ Ensure a seamless and consistent customer experience across all calls
+ Manage inbound calls, online inquiries, and follow-up conversations
Consultative Sales
+ Recommend tailored service packages based on customer needs
+ Close sales during the call or through structured follow-up
+ Manage both upfront and residual commission opportunities
+ Accurately document interactions and updates in the CRM system
Team Collaboration
+ Contribute to a positive, high‑support team environment
+ Communicate effectively through phone, email, and text
+ Participate in ongoing coaching, feedback, and development sessions
Required Skills & Experience
+ Previous customer-facing experience preferred (phone or in-person)
+ Basic proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
+ High school diploma or GED

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Barrington, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
