Server Systems Administrator
Position Description:

Work Mode: Hybrid, on-site presence in Saguenay as needed

Role Description:
Our client, a major player in the manufacturing sector, is looking for an Experienced Systems Administrator to manage and maintain OTNet server environments. This role is critical to ensure the availability, security, and performance of industrial systems.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Windows and Linux server administration in an OT (Operational Technology) environment.
Solid understanding of industrial networks and OT/IT segmentation.
Experience with configuration, deployment, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of industrial protocols and cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
Skills in security policy management, system hardening, and compliance with industry standards.
Familiarity with backup, restore, and high-availability solutions.
Ability to diagnose and resolve incidents related to servers and critical applications.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
Bonus: experience with OTNet monitoring systems and centralized management tools.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Key Responsibilities:
Administer, maintain, and optimize OTNet servers to ensure industrial system availability and performance.
Implement security and segmentation strategies compliant with OT/IT standards.
Apply updates, patches, and system hardening to reduce vulnerability risks.
Proactively monitor server environments and respond promptly to incidents.
Collaborate with OT and IT teams to plan and execute upgrade or migration projects.
Document configurations, procedures, and interventions following best practices.
Stay up-to-date with technological trends to propose improvements and innovations suitable for the industrial context.
