The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking an FT Server to join the team!
A Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by providing friendly, timely, and professional food and beverage service. This role requires strong knowledge of menu offerings and a commitment to creating a memorable Guest and Member experience.
What will I be doing?
As a Server, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:
· Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests
· Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and timely manner
· Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all licensing and liquor regulations for both residents and non-residents
· Maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
· Ensure mise en place is fully stocked and properly maintained at assigned stations
· Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders, ensuring quality, presentation, and timeliness
· Follow proper reporting and escalation procedures when service issues arise
· Adhere to Hilton grooming standards, including uniform appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
· Comply with all hotel security policies, fire regulations, and health and safety standards
