Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country. **For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below:** **http://www.levyrestaurants.com/who-we-are/** **Job Summary** **Summary:** Sets and clears restaurant tables; stocks all service stations; assists food servers with table service. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Follow Levy’s Responsible Alcohol Service standards: check IDs for anyone appearing under 30, do not serve guests under 21 or visibly intoxicated, and limit service to two drinks per guest per ID at a time. + Provide safe, responsible, and knowledgeable alcohol and wine service. + Answer guest questions about menu items, beverages, and wine selections. + Know table numbers and accurately enter or write orders. + Maintain attentive service: monitor your station, check back with guests, and identify when meals are finished. + Process payments accurately and follow proper checkout procedures. + Assist with food delivery, clearing tables, and resetting dining areas. + Keep work areas clean and maintain a positive, outgoing attitude.
