The Hilton Houston Post Oak by the Galleria is looking for a Server Assistant to join their Promenade restaurant team! 

Half a mile from the shops and restaurants at The Galleria – America’s fourth largest mall – and three miles from Memorial Park and the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. Downtown Houston is six miles away. Our second-floor outdoor pool has plenty of seating, and we also have a 24-hour fitness center, as well as two restaurants and a bar.

***The ideal candidate will have at least (1) year of customer service experience with flexibility in the mornings from 6am-11:30am, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. 

What will I be doing?

As a Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repairStock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)Assist food server(s) with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing areaRespond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
