The SEO Analyst is responsible for planning, implementing and managing Cleveland Clinic’s SEO strategy to drive search engine rank performance, traffic, engagement and conversions. 

 

A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, Monday - Friday from 8:00am—5:00pm (flexible). 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:   

Develop and manage optimization strategies that increase Cleveland Clinic’s search engine results rankings. 

Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search phrases to drive traffic and guide content teams. 

Perform keyword and SEO competitor analysis. 

Develop and execute effective link-building strategies. 

Optimize on-page elements such as title tag, meta description, URL, headings, images and internal links. 

Research and create strategies to address SEO trends across channels (e.g. mobile, video, image and voice recognition). 

Partner with enterprise counterparts to promote SEO best practices and lead SEO training opportunities for other marketing team members and stakeholders. 

Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance. 

Stay on the cutting edge of SEO best practices tools and techniques. 

 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   

Education required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business or a related area. 

4 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns. 

An additional 3 years relevant digital marketing experience and a high school diploma or GED may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.  

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. 

Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods. 

Expert-level experience with SEO industry programs and data mining tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush. 

Experience with CMS platforms such as SiteCore and WordPress. 

Experience with content management tools such as ClickUp, Trello WorkFront or Basecamp. 

Ability to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry. 

Ability to analyze high volumes of data on a daily basis. 

Language required: English 

Physical Requirements:

Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC.

Typical physical demands include ability to sit, stand or walk extensively.
