Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Project Manager to support the Sentinel Program Command and Launch team in the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division. This position will be located in Roy, Utah. The successful candidate will be responsible for vertical and horizontal integration of Command & Launch Command and Control (C2) activities.

What You’ll Get To Do:
In this position, you will support an experienced and diverse team working across a number of disciplines, including master planning, configuration and data management, digital engineering, business management, risk management, processes and tools, and engineering. This position regularly interfaces with senior management across the company and our customers. The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The candidate will also review status of projects and budget, manage schedules, and prepare status reports, assess project issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. The selected candidate will also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with managers.

Essential Responsibilities include:

•Support the Command & Launch Command and Control (C2) Team with vertical and horizontal integration activities in Roy, Utah. Serve as an integration function for the Command and Launch (C2) team engaging in many ad hoc activities required to ensure streamlined cadence and execution. Collaborate across all functions within the program to develop advanced concepts, techniques and requirements for new applications and toolsCoordinate schedules and provide Liaison assistance between the interfacing IPTs.Serve as a project management expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications.Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.Prepare charts, briefings and metrics as needed to provide the Program with visualization material necessary to understand the health of the organization.Acting with a sense of urgency and accountability; taking ownership of tasks and strategic direction.Develop and build on relationships for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with senior leaders and other executives on special projectsOther Duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Project Manager: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 1 year with a Masters or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degreeActive DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher) awarded or reviewed in the last 5 years.U.S. Citizenship with ability to receive Special Access Program (SAP) access. Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and execution of a large, complex program.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)Ability to lead a teamExperience with high level customer engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
