Job Description

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Sensor Operator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Secret level cleared Sensor Operator joining our team to support our intelligence customer.
 

The Sensor Operator will collect data from multiple sources for real-time operations and post-mission analysis. The Sensor Operator will deploy to various OCONUS locations as part of the air crew to collect and analyze data while maintaining safety and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Responsible for routine and dynamic target area assessment using LiDAR/EO and radar systems while providing analysis and distribution of multi-source information via on-board aircraft communications systems.Possess a combination of maturity, skill and experience to function safely and effectively as an aircrew member in a tactical environment.Operate LiDAR/EO and radar sensors along with communications equipment.Execute all assigned preflight, flight, and post flight duties as required to safely and effectively operate an assigned sensor suite supporting customer missions. This includes mission planning, pre-briefings, mission system inspection, operation, troubleshooting, post-flight inspections, debriefings, intelligence product preparation and distribution, and mission documentation.Assist with mission equipment payload preventive maintenance, sensor and line-replaceable unit and sensor swaps.Complete pre-deployment training and job readiness specific to each TDY locationDeploy to various OCONUS operating locations on rotational assignmentsProvide 24x7 support as needed to ensure coverage of operations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experienceMust have active Secret clearancePrevious intelligence or operations experience providing analysis of multi-source informationMust show demonstratable interpretation and analysis with LiDAR/EOPrevious intelligence or operations experience providing analysis of multi-source informationMust be able to successfully accomplish airborne mission / flight operations trainingBe able to obtain a US passport and visas to travel internationally
