Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Workers Compensation Attorney to help start a new WC division in Encino, CA. This is an opportunity for an experienced WC attorney to architect an entire department including staffing, processes, technology, and workflow, while also managing cases hands-on in the initial phase.
We are seeking someone who has previously run a WC department or successfully managed their own practice and is ready to bring that expertise into a fast‑growing plaintiff firm.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Workers’ Compensation Practice Group from scratch.
- Define operational workflows, technology needs, and staffing structure.
- Oversee and manage all WC cases initially, with plans to scale the team.
- Provide hands-on representation and maintain a high-quality plaintiff-side caseload.
- Advise firm leadership on growth strategy and performance metrics.

Skills and Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of Workers’ Compensation experience.
- Experience running a WC department or managing a solo practice
- Strong understanding of staffing, operations, and technology in a WC setting.
- Deep plaintiff-side experience
- California Bar license required
- Ideal candidates come from large, reputable WC firms with leadership track records.
