Senior Workday Analyst-Advanced Compensation & Time Tracking

You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world. **A Day in the Life** The Senior Workday Support Analyst with focus areas of Workday Compensation and Workday Time Tracking support is a dual-role position responsible for managing and optimizing Workday Compensation and Time Tracking functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with other Workday modules, and providing technical support for compensation and time tracking processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compensation and time tracking technologies and system administration, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance pay structures, incentive programs, compliance with labor laws, and time management processes while driving operational efficiency. This position will receive indirect work direction from the Workday lead analyst for each respective domain area. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.** **Workday Compensation Analyst Support:** + Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Compensation functionalities to align with business needs and compensation strategies. + Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to compensation plans, grades, salary structures, and bonus/incentive programs, collaborating with HRIT and stakeholders as needed. + Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and business leaders to gather requirements and implement process improvements within Workday Compensation. + Manage compensation workflows, templates, and settings to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. + Analyze compensation data and system usage to identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation. + Stay informed on Workday releases and updates, evaluating new functionalities and recommending adoption strategies to improve compensation operations. **Workday Time Tracking Analyst Support:** + Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Time Tracking functionalities to support accurate and efficient time tracking processes across the organization. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time tracking configurations, timesheets, and partner with HRIT for integrations with payroll systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. + Collaborate with HRIT, Payroll, and business leaders to gather requirements and implement enhancements to the time tracking system. + Monitor and analyze time tracking data to identify trends, compliance risks, and opportunities for process improvements. + Ensure alignment of time tracking configurations with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements. + Stay updated on Workday Time Tracking releases and new features, recommending strategies for adoption to enhance system capabilities and user experience. + Create and maintain documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and technical troubleshooting guides for both Workday Compensation and Time Tracking. + Ensure data integrity and compliance across all compensation and time tracking processes. **Required Knowledge and Experience:** + Must have Full time Bachelor’s degree from recognized University. + Overall must have 8-12years of experience. + 4+years of Human Capital Management systems to include Workday Compensation/Advanced Compensation and Workday Time Tracking configuration experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years Workday Compensation application configuration experience. + Written and verbal English language proficiency **NICE TO HAVE** + Workday Time Tracking configuration experience + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Information Systems + Workday Pro or Partner certification for Compensation or Time Tracking + Experience implementing Workday + Experience working cross-functionally + Demonstrated critical thinking, ability to collaborate, analyze data & systems, generate ideas, and set high standards focusing on the customer while fostering diversity & inclusion in everything that you do. + Strong communicator & problem solver with the ability to handle multiple competing priorities. + Strong attention to detail and possess a technical aptitude. **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
