HOW A SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Develop, enhance, and maintain the main JavaScript and CSS files for websitesWork with IT to investigate and resolve issues related to software deployment, website security, and TeamSite template issuesInvestigate and correct accessibility issues to enhance Section 508 complianceDesign and develop new features for websites, including writing specifications for enhancements to existing TeamSite templates and creation of new templatesWrite and maintain technical documentation for the Interactive Digital teamCreate analytics reports using Google Looker StudioRun monthly website scans to find and resolve broken links and typographical errorsAssist team members with troubleshooting website and TeamSite issues

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Education Experience:

o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred

● Required Experience:

A minimum of ten (10) years experience.


● Required Technical Skills:

Thorough knowledge of CSS and JavaScript syntax, emphasizing adherence to standards for browser compatibilityExperience working with jQuery, Bootstrap 3 and 4, and SassSass is important, as the CSS for Blue, LiteBlue, Keeping Posted, and About are all maintained via Sass files to incorporate our customizations with the standard Bootstrap CSS and Bootstrap icons.Experience building reports with Looker StudioExperience with TeamSite and Dreamweaver a plus

● Security Clearance Level:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.#qwe726
