Description The Sr. Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, optimizing workflow, and maintaining accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure functionality and safety. • Optimize warehouse workflows and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity. • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on operations and key performance indicators. • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce. • Coordinate with other departments, including logistics and customer service, to ensure seamless operations. • Handle and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively. • Manage building security and shift opening processes. • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees. • Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. • Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. • Drive a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and company standards. • Oversee all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations, from inventory planning to order fulfillment and shipping. • Leverage lean tools and continuous improvement strategies to streamline processes and maximize efficiency. • Play a critical role in major projects such as warehouse and software launches. • Serve as a change agent, fostering collaboration and driving standardized practices across warehouse locations. ESSENTIAL Skills and competencies: • BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business preferred. Min of 5+ years in managing a multishift (1st and 2nd shift) team of 50+ in a warehouse or distribution facility • Leadership skills to include: interviewing, hiring, and training. Performance management. Safety. • MUST have strong system skills.
