**Description**
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) Strategic, Communication, Marketing, and Training Group is seeking a **Senior Videographer** to join our team in an onsite position in Panama City, Fl where you will exercise your creativity in writing scripts, producing, directing and editing the videotaping of programs and trainings.
As a **Senior Videographer,** you will be a key member of a team that is solving real-world problems for customers in the military, medical, commercial, and intelligence industries. **Activites could require candidate to:**
+ Deliver expertly shot 4K footage that meets professional broadcasting standards and enhances the visual narrative of each project.
+ Edit video content quickly and efficiently in Adobe Premiere Pro, crafting engaging narratives that align with project goals and client vision.
+ Create eye-catching animation and motion graphics to support video projects.
+ Develop motion graphics for interactive media/web projects.
+ Produce, record, and process audio for narration or VOs using Adobe Audition.
+ Maintain organized archived project folders.
+ Maintain and be responsible for any issued video production equipment owned or leased by ARA.
+ Concept to delivery video production responsibility to include scripting, storyboards, shooting, editing, audio processing, and delivery to clients.
+ Create or assist in the creation of advertising and promotion concepts for new products and/or specialty items.
+ Develop, test, and implement new interactive designs.
+ Coordinate with instructional system designers to develop multimedia content.
+ Optimize multimedia, graphics, video and audio for web delivery.
Candidate will participate in creative team meetings when necessary to assess project needs and recommend appropriate design solutions to meet stated project and messaging goals.
**Required Experience:**
+ Knowledge and understanding of the engineering and technical aspects of broadcast quality video production equipment.
+ Comprehensive body of knowledge related to videography related to training videos and developing storyboards and scripts.
+ Planning and developing video programs by transforming training and other objectives into production ideas requiring the determination of format, approach, content, and level of presentation.
+ Knowledge and experience with integration of other multi-media into videos, such as animation and motion graphics.
+ Experience in using a video studio/green room to develop training videos.
+ Directing and assisting staff to fabricate sets, props, and wardrobes, as needed, and secures permits, consents, and releases to meet the legal requirements for videotaping persons and places.
+ Must be highly organized and motivated, have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, ability to execute multiple projects from inception to completion, and the ability to meet short deadlines.
+ Must be team oriented and be able to collaborate with other ARA videographers, artists, and animators to develop and refine media products.
+ Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of BS or higher and at least five years of experience in professional communications development and delivery to include videography, photography, and graphic design.
**Desired:**
+ Portfolio of video/graphic work. Understand media file types, codecs and encoding processes as well as closed captioning processes.
**Travel Requirements:**
+ Must be able and available to travel as much as 25% of work schedule.
