Senior Vice President - 19241
Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President, Commercial Insurance to drive revenue growth, and lead a high-performing team. This executive role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in business development, team leadership and customer relationship management.  This position reports to directly to the President & COO.
 
Vice President, Commercial Insurance key responsibilities:
 
Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company objectives, revenue targets, and market expansion goals.  Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment of commercial initiatives with overall business strategy.   Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.  Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.  Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed. Drive sales pipeline development and ensure effective forecasting and reporting.  Marketing and Customer Relationships: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective engagement and problem resolution. Financial Performance and Budget Management: Oversee commercial sales budgets, setting reliable and achievable targets in order to execute on company growth objectives Prepare and present financial reports and commercial performance insights to senior leadership. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive profitability through effective commercial planning.  Operational Excellence: In collaboration with senior leadership, implement efficient processes and workflows to optimize commercial activities across sales, marketing, and customer service. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify improvement areas. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.  The successful candidate has: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams. Proven track record in sales and marketing with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth preferably with large commercial clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship-building with customers and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and financial reports. In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics. Experience in developing and executing commercial strategies to drive business success.
