About this role

The Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing leads the development and execution of the organization’s long-term growth strategy within the local government correctional healthcare market. The role architects a strategic, relationship‑driven commercial approach tailored to the public‑sector procurement environment. It oversees the design and leadership of an account‑based growth engine focused on county correctional partners. It directs strategic sales and marketing efforts in complex, multi‑stakeholder buying environments. It ensures the organization maintains strong competitive positioning throughout extended sales cycles culminating in RFP processes.

 

What you bring to the table

Education

Bachelor’s degree required and/or related experience.

Experience

10+ years experience in successful consultative sales and team management. Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and implement programs and processes required. Ideal candidates will have healthcare, mental health and/or corrections background with experience obtaining businesses through RFP and/ or bid processes and/ or working with government agencies. Incumbent must possess strong conceptual, analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.Experience selling into government or highly regulated healthcare markets.Understands the political and financial dynamics of county governments.Demonstrates mastery of long‑cycle enterprise sales culminating in formal procurement.Experience building scalable sales processes and tools in mature, competitive markets.

What you will do

Lead a strategic, consultative sales organization and oversee enterprise sales efforts across defined territories.Design and implement account‑based marketing and strategic account management frameworks tailored to the correctional healthcare market.Build scalable systems and processes to navigate long, complex sales cycles, manage pipelines, and guide RFP strategy and renewals.Partner with cross‑functional teams to align commercial commitments with operational capabilities and drive integrated marketing and sales enablement.Develop and mentor a high‑performing team while fostering a culture of strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and long‑term relationship development.
