We are looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Engineer with strong GUI and UX design skills to work in the FortiSIEM product group. The ideal candidate must have have passion and attitude to understand the intricacies of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) product space, what FortiSIEM does, what other SIEM Leaders do and what customers and markets want and synthesize the ideas to improve FortiSIEM UX.

Responsibilities:

Lead and own the full cycle of the FortiSIEM feature design process starting from problem definition to solution.

Improve the existing FortiSIEM features with focus on both usability and modern look-and feel and consistency

Create GUI mock ups for new FortiSIEM features and work with FortiSIEM Engineering and QA team to get them implemented on time

Investigate and implement how AI can improve feature set and user experience

Translate complex workflows into simple, impactful user experiences

Ensure consistency and excellence in design execution.

Conduct research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, to align on goals, vision, solution, and outcomes.

Constantly iterate based on feedback and data

Investigate other Fortinet Security products and align their look and feel and UX.

Requirements:

10+ years of experience designing complex applications, ideally in Cybersecurity

Proven ability to lead UX initiatives, ask the right questions, and challenge assumptions.

A "Master of UI" with an uncompromising eye for detail and ability to set the visual standard for the next generation of creative tools.

Skilled in user research methodologies from generative discovery to usability testing.

Team-oriented, self-motivated, fast learner, and willing to work in a fast paced and cross-site development environment

Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude. 

Adapt and deliver on time working in a fast-paced agile environment.
