The Experience Strategy and Design team is a multi-disciplinary group of product designers and experience strategists that collaborate with business and technology partners across the enterprise to build meaningful digital experiences for our internal users across Sales, Service, and Wealth. We are seeking a Senior Experience Strategist and Design Manager, specializing in Salesforce to deliver experiences for our Sales, Service and Wealth user  meeting their individual business needs while also ensuring consistency across the Retail Salesforce environment. 

 

In this role, you’ll take the time to understand the discovery and delivery side of XD, but also the business aspects of the digital products we create for our internal audiences. You’ll collaborate with Research, Product, and Engineering teams to create innovative experiences for our internal platforms, leveraging your passion for usability, craft, and design quality.

Responsibilities

Leads the design of innovative solutions across our Sales, Service and Wealth platforms that address user, product, and business problems

Collaborates with product managers, solution architects, and stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and constraints

Data driven: you are skilled at articulating design decisions that are grounded in user research, business goals and platform constraints; creating alignment across stakeholders

Provides guidance and expertise to effectively engage stakeholders on product design to achieve product goals

Utilizes the Salesforce platform, Trailheads, and the Lightning design system (SLDS2) as part of the regular design work

Ensures user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs effectively communicate design rationale and design and interactions standards

What you have

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of creating experiences for digital products for internal users

5+ years of work experience working with product leaders and technology

1+ year of Schwab technology domain experience gained as a current or recent contractor or employee

Bachelor's or master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Strong design leadership and project management skills, with the ability to influence product and development partners to the best user experience outcomes

Experience with UX research methods and past close collaboration with research teams

Track record in fostering positive collaborative outcomes in an agile environment across multiple projects

Expert communicator, both written and orally, to all levels throughout the organization

Knowledge of and experience with working in the Salesforce platform and the Lightning design system

Knowledge of and experience with working with IBM Blueworks or other business process mapping tools

Proficient in the latest design and process tools such as Figma, MS Teams, Confluence and Jira
