We are seeking a passionate Senior UX Designer to innovate in creating Human Machine Interfacing Platforms to join the AIT team within the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Robotics organization.
Amazon's Operations Technology teams are the technical engines that support Amazon's mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company. We design interfaces that touch every Amazon operations employee globally and innovate solutions for logistics, supply chain optimization, and transportation. If you are a UX Designer with strong problem-solving skills, experience with industrial applications, and a passion for creating simple solutions to complex problems, we want to talk with you.
Key job responsibilities
- Conduct user research and create personas, journey maps, and task flows to understand operator needs and behaviors.
- Design intuitive interfaces for complex automation systems using human-centered design principles
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various platforms and devices
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure design integrity during implementation
- Develop and maintain design systems that scale across multiple applications
- Lead design reviews and usability testing sessions
- Analyze user metrics and feedback to continuously improve interface designs
- Mentor junior designers and promote design best practices across teams
