You Are:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Unix Administrator to join our team . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unix/Linux administration, along with experience managing Windows server environments. This role requires hands-on technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring high availability and performance of systems.

 

The opportunity:

·       Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers and related infrastructure.

·       Administer and support Windows servers as part of a hybrid environment.

·       Monitor system performance, availability, and security.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve server, storage, and networking issues.

·       Perform patch management, upgrades, and system backups.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support business-critical applications.

·       Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

·       Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       Minimum 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.

·       Strong background in both Linux and Windows server administration.

·       Experience with shell scripting, automation, and system monitoring tools.

·       Knowledge of networking concepts, storage management, and virtualization technologies.

·       Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
