CGI has an immediate need for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. • This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA or Washington, DC. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping user-centered digital experiences that are both visually compelling and functionally effective. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into intuitive design solutions that meet user needs and align with brand standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
• Deep understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Experience designing for responsive web and mobile interfaces, with attention to accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Skilled in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts.
• Ability to conduct and apply insights from user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Comfortable working in collaborative environments, partnering with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design decisions clearly.
• Familiarity with design systems and maintaining component libraries for consistency.
• Experience with front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Prior experience working in Agile product teams.
• Relevant certifications in UX/UI Design or Design Thinking are a plus.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in enterprise or product-driven environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $95,800.00 - $154,300.00.
