Senior Trust Operations Specialist

Description

The Wealth Management Operations team services high net worth clients across platforms including Clarfeld’s fully disclosed platform, and the legacy Citizens Wealth Management fiduciary business. The team is responsible for critical financial operations such as money movements, asset transfers, fee collection, and corporate actions.

We are seeking a Senior Trust Operations Specialist to join our Johnston-based team. This role is pivotal in supporting fee-related activities and broader financial operations. It will support the 

Primary responsibilities include

Research, analyze, and verify fee transactions; apply necessary adjustments to customer accounts.Resolve discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries accurately and efficiently.Prepare and monitor reports to forecast fee revenue.Manage fee collection activities, including setup and maintenance of fee schedules for new and existing accounts.Perform regular and ad hoc reporting on fee collection metrics.Review and validate client invoices; collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy.Respond to requests from shared inboxes and manage tasks via Microsoft Teams.Conduct research and support special projects, such as historical fee analysis.Crosstrain in other operational areas, including money movements and asset transfers.Ensure all tasks are completed with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining a client-first approach.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in financial operations, trust services, or private wealth.Experience with InnoTrust, Fidelity, Schwab, and accounting systems.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word SharePoint, and familiarity with custodian websites.Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.Proven experience in back-office operations, including account processing, settlements, and fee processingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and training developmentStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion.Dependable and focused, with a strong sense of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related fieldTeam-oriented with a flexible and proactive approach.Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.The preferred candidate would possess the following competencies: operational excellence, technical proficiency, client-centric mindset, team collaboration, initiative and independence, adaptability and flexibility, and time management and prioritization.

Hours per Week: 40Work Schedule: M-F
