Primary Responsibilities

As a Senior Transportation Planner / Project Manager, you will:

Lead and manage complex, multidiscipline transportation planning and environmental compliance projects.Direct the preparation and analysis of transportation planning studies, reports, and compliance documents.Manage project teams, coordinate staffing, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality documents.Engage with clients and stakeholders, support business development, and represent the team in meetings and public forums.Participate in design development, including collaboration with technical professionals from various disciplines.Oversee scheduling, budgeting, and financial performance of projects.Conduct and participate in public outreach, agency coordination, and planning/programming efforts.Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures across multiple projects.Support preparation of maps, visualizations, and documentation for transportation plans and studies.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in transportation planning.At least 2 years in a project management role with proven leadership.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS; experience with project scheduling tools such as MS Project.Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, teams, and client relationships.Knowledge of transit planning principles and public participation strategies.Proven track record in business development and client engagement.Positive attitude and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Active participation in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Urban or Transportation Planning or related field.PMP Certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).AICP Certification and/or knowledge of PMI standards.Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).Saudi nationality required.At least 8 years of relevant experience in the Saudi market.
