Provide transportation planning services for transit, highway, state agencies, cities and countiesTake responsibility for corridor studies, forecast modeling, traffic analysis, transportation planning, and impact fee developmentAssimilate and manage dataCollect project-related data as needed, which may include research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, land use surveys, and socioeconomic analysisPrepare constraints mappingPrepare required documents such as categorical exclusions, environmental assessments, environmental impact studies and other technical reportsAssist in preparation for and participate in public information meetings and hearingsPerform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering or a related field
A minimum of 10 years' experience with transportation planning
Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
Understanding of transit planning principles
Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and personnel
Solid business development skills; demonstrated ability to relate well to clients; and demonstrated presentation skills
