**Our Team:**
During the first year after the creation of Business Operations we have mainly concentrated on centralizing activities, building scale and standing foundations for Sanofi’s transformation. Now, we enter a new chapter that focuses on value creation by standardizing and harmonizing critical processes across the enterprise, reducing fragmentation, simplifying and modernizing our ways of working.
The role of “capacity & resource planning” Manager is responsible for forecasting, planning and optimizing the transition workforce capacity and tower hiring plan to align BO transition program needs. He plays a pivotal role in transition organization effectiveness in ensuring that the workforce aligns with the operational demands.
**Main responsibilities:**
**1- Forecasting & Capacity Planning**
**Transition capacity planning**
+ Develop and deliver detailed short and mid-term capacity plans with clear milestones, timelines, identifying interdependencies by analyzing function needs to define the requirements
+ Use in-depth knowledge to steer forecast needs vs. transition plannings based on project/wave milestones
+ Allocate staffing models to ensure overall performance with the different transition phases and expected deliverables
+ Optimize staffing levels across transition projects, by profile and seniority levels
+ Monitor the progress of the capacity planning, and make necessary adjustments to transition plans as needed
+ Optimize resources allocation per tower / transition project to meet transformation requirements
+ Review and consolidate the organization’s transition portfolio outlining project scope, schedules and toll gate milestones
**Tower Hiring plan**
+ Harmonize and standardize the hiring plan across tower
+ Monitor progress, issues, actions plan in close collaboration with the tower, TA and transition team
+ Consolidate and communicate action plans to leadership team to mitigate risk on business continuity
**2- Data Analysis & Reporting**
+ Identify opportunities to enhance capacity planning processes by leading the development of a sustainable and robust digital tool to monitor & share dashboards for senior leadership
+ Optimize reports and dashboard on capacity utilization and staffing efficiency for BO Leadership Team
+ Make innovative recommendations for improving global communication & performance to the tower and TA
**3- Stakeholder Management**
+ Lead and schedule regular updates to senior leaders and stakeholders
+ Ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the capacity planning, their concerns are addressed and are actively involved throughout the process
+ Collaborate with Tower Leads to understand needs and align capacity plans
+ Define action plans to mitigate risks
+ Provide clear guidance
+ Partner with the change management teams to ensure right narrative and messages are delivered consistently
+ Build and maintain a strong working relationship with business and functions, including key leadership Teams
+ Develop strong relationships with senior leaders, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure their active involvement and endorsement of transition plans
**4- Training & Talent Management**
+ Review, build and provide training position to ensure proper role & responsibility across the transition organization
+ Steer the transition organization improvement opportunities to bring best-in-class way of working and workload distribution
+ Evaluate the existing skills of transition teams
+ Create training modules tailored to specific roles (Transition Architect, Transition Manager, Transition Specialist)
+ Establish clear career path to motivate and retain talent
+ Set measurable goals and regularly review performance
**5- Leadership & Communication**
+ Provide strong leadership throughout transformation process, inspiring and motivating teams
+ Provide effective communication, both upward to senior leadership and downward to employees
+ Articulate a clear and compelling vision of change
+ Define target KPIs for program delivery, ensure benefits realization mechanisms are in place throughout and embedded after transitions
**About you**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, management, science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
+ Proven track record of at least 10 years in driving successful business outcomes
+ Strong understanding of transformation and design thinking methodologies, change management practices, project management principles, and continuous improvement
+ Leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams by navigating complexity in a matrixed and international environment
+ Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
+ Analytical mindset and strategic thinking, with the ability to quickly ramp-up on complex business challenges and identify innovative solutions
+ Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes
+ High proficiency in English is mandatory due to the exposition to global activities and teams
