Qorvo is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior TOSCA Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with TOSCA for test automation within SAP ecosystems, coupled with a deep understanding of SAP manual testing processes. The role will involve leading test automation initiatives, manage end-to-end test processes, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality for our SAP-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute test automation using TOSCA within SAP ecosystems, including designing, maintaining, and optimizing test scripts
Configure, manage, monitor, and maintain Tosca Commander, Tosca Server, and Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) with Automation Object Service environments
Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and implement automation solutions
Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects
Perform functional and integration testing across SAP modules
Lead manual testing efforts for complex SAP projects, including developing test cases, test plans, and documentation using qTest
Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and project managers, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and create appropriate test scenarios
Mentor team members in TOSCA best practices providing support and guidance
Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
Maintain and support test environments, including test data preparation and ensuring data quality
Maintain Qorvo testing KPIs and support structured problem-solving initiatives using Lean principles to enhance test efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage
Stay current with the latest qTest and TOSCA features
Monitor Tosca performance, analyze logs, proactively troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources for efficiency
Document configurations, best practices, standards, and troubleshooting guides and adhere to standard processes to improve delivery execution of KPIs/SLAs
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related degree.
12+ years of hands-on experience in test automation within an SAP environment.
8+ hands-on experience using TOSCA within an SAP environment.
Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining TOSCA automation scripts.
Advanced knowledge of TOSCA’s model-based testing, test case design, and test data management.
Experience with SAP business processes and configurations, with proven ability to design and execute functional and integration test cases using qTest and Tosca.
Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant qTest, TOSCA, and SAP module certifications.
Experience with IBP, Vistex, EDI, EDW, and custom applications testing.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices for test automation integration.
Knowledge of programming languages.
