Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Senior Tooling Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Site Reporting to the Sr. Director, Mechanical Engineering. The Senior Tooling Engineer role involves.

What a typical day looks like:

Manage large injection mold tooling projectsCoordinate with other team members as needed during mold qualification, sampling and final part approvalAbility to quote large injection mold tooling projects, including required auxiliary equipmentInvolvement in troubleshooting issues with production moldsDevelop outside tooling sources as neededCoordinate tool repair activity as neededCoordinate mold design reviews with tool vendorsCoordinate implementation of cost-effective tool design changesInvolvement in DFM/FMEA activities both internally and with customersProvide status reports to management and customers as neededProvide support to Engineering Manager as neededTravel Required

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

B.A. or B.S. in Engineering or related field or relevant work experienceAdvanced EnglishShould have relevant experience in a regulated industryExperience in using 2D, 3D CAD / CAM applications (AutoCAD, Catia, Siemens, Solid work etc.)Experience with simple measurement toolsAbility to interface and communicate with different levels of the organization, and with external vendorsWell organized & disciplined, good attention to detail, sets priorities and manages time effectivelyStrong working knowledge of MS Office applicationsExperience in qualification of complex, high cavitation, tight tolerance injection moldsExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and communication skills requiredDemonstrate knowledge of Injection Mold Design and Injection Mold Processing techniques
