Amazon MGM Studios is seeking an experienced Senior Theatrical Marketing Manager to oversee Europe trade marketing and pan-regional brand collaboration across Amazon MGM’s theatrical film slate. This role will play a critical part in shaping how Amazon MGM releases show up in cinemas and beyond, driving standout exhibitor campaigns, data-led collaboration with exhibition partners, and high-impact brand partnerships that amplify reach and cut through for Amazon MGM theatrical releases across Europe.
You will work cross-functionally with International Home Office Marketing, Local Territory teams, International Creative and Media teams, as well as external partners and agencies, to deliver integrated, audience-first campaigns in a highly competitive theatrical landscape. This position reports into the Europe Regional Theatrical Marketing Lead.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborations and Promotions
- Support the negotiation and activation of pan-regional brand collaborations that extend the reach and cultural impact of Amazon MGM film releases through integrated co-marketing campaigns.
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with the brand collaborations agency, overseeing partner strategy and the full end-to-end process from pitch development through deal execution and campaign activation.
- Support Marketing teams in Amazon MGM local offices on securing and activating in-market promotional collaborations, ensuring alignment with regional strategy and global positioning.
Trade Marketing
- Support the Europe trade marketing strategy for Amazon MGM theatrical releases, helping developing and executing exhibitor collaborations that unlock incremental marketing value and drive box office results across multiple territories.
- Oversee the development and delivery of stand-out in-cinema executions across Europe, ensuring campaigns are creatively bold, locally relevant and aligned with global positioning.
- Oversee regional trailering strategy, working closely with Int’l Creative, Distribution and local marketing teams to ensure trailer assets are delivered on time and aligned with release and launch milestones.
- Oversee Amazon MGM’s pan-regional relationship with premium format partners (e.g., IMAX, ScreenX, RealD), supporting strategic collaboration, marketing innovation and measurable premium format revenue growth.
- Partner closely with the Europe Digital Marketing Manager to deliver data-driven collaborations with theatrical exhibition partners, leveraging audience insights and exhibitor data to improve campaign effectiveness and performance.
Reporting and Analysis
- Track performance, evaluate results and share learnings to continuously improve trade marketing and partnership effectiveness across both regional and local Amazon MGM teams in Europe.
- Establish clear campaign and partnership KPIs and success metrics in collaboration with senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Team Development
- Act as a key Europe stakeholder for theatrical exhibition and brand partners, building strong, trusted senior-level relationships across the region.
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships with local, regional and international teams to enable the effective rollout of exhibitor and brand partner campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Regional and Local Distribution teams, ensuring clear alignment on regional trade marketing strategy, priorities and campaign rollout.
- Oversee and manage Europe trade marketing and collaborations budgets, ensuring campaigns are planned within budget and deliver strong value for Amazon MGM theatrical releases.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team capability development.
- Champion creative excellence, innovation and operational rigor across the organisation.
