Manpower Engineering is partnering with a leader in the Electronics Manufacturing industry for a Test Technician. **Job Title: Test Technician (Circuit Boards)** **Location: Oakdale, MN** **Pay: $30 - $35/hour + (DOE)** **Duration: DIRECT HIRE** **JOB SUMMARY:** Conducts a variety of tests and/or diagnostics on electronic printed circuit boards and assemblies. Follows company FOD, ESD, 5S, and safety regulations **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** • Ability to read basic blueprints and schematics. • Ability to identify electronic components used on printed circuit boards. • Ability to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical problems at ICT level. • Ability to use a Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and other relevant tools to perform job duties. • Familiarity with and knowledge of test and repair equipment. • Ability to read and understand work routers, bill of materials, assembly drawings, component identification, and component polarity. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** • A two-year degree in Electronics with at least 4 years of relevant experience. • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Applications. • Microscope experience. • Training and experience with IPC-610 standards or equivalent. • Familiarity with ISO procedures. • Component identification experience • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment • Good vision, hand coordination and manual dexterity are required. • Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English • Basic PC knowledge **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor. Effectively communicate orally and written.
