We are looking for a Lead Test Engineer

You’ll make a difference by:

·        Conducting thorough testing of CNC machines, good knowledge on Sinumerik systems is beneficial.

·        Developing and executing test plans, procedures, and scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of CNC machines.

·        Automating the basic use cases using python. Test script maintenance and adaptation for multiple targets.

·        Understanding field or customer issues, debug, perform in-depth analysis, identify the root cause. 

·        Identifying, documenting, and troubleshooting issues related to CNC machine operations.

·        Collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve testing processes and machine performance.

·        Staying updated with the latest advancements in CNC technology and automation.

·        Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

·        Troubleshooting customer problems & provide timely feedback & support. 

·        Making sure all required tests are executed on identified versions and platforms. 

·        Performing Risk Based Testing and test case optimization on all applicable platforms. 

·        Striving for Continuous improvement of existing tests, tools, and processes. 

·        Providing timely status to the stakeholders & management. 

You’ll win us over by:

·        Holding a degree BE / B. Tech / M. Tech / ME or equivalent preferably in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics/ Instrumentation/Comp. Science with 5-7 years of experience in handling CNC systems, with a focus on Sinumerik systems.

·        Having a strong understanding of CNC machine operations, programming, and maintenance.

·        Having experience with automation technologies and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.

·        Possessing excellent critical thinking skills and diligence.

·        Having exposure to Configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, ClearCase, GIT)

·        Exhibiting effective communication and teamwork abilities.

·        Having the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

·        Possessing good interpersonal Communication skills to manage international customers.  

·        Having exposure to any of the test automation framework. 

·        Being knowledgeable of any defect management tools, lean/agile practices, Testing life cycle and Release processes and Product Lifecycle Management processes.
