The Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant plays a dual role, equally focused on business systems analysis and risk mitigation. This position supports the Access SOR team in consolidating user access across multiple systems into a single source of record. The consultant will coordinate with product owners and cross-functional teams to manage data mapping, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment across stakeholders. The role also includes oversight of change management, SDLC vulnerability management, and business continuity planning (BCP), with a strong emphasis on data enablement and transformation.


In this role, you will:

Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to gather, clarify, and document requirementsSupport change management and risk mitigation efforts related to SDLC and BCPCoordinate data mapping and consumption activities across multiple systems (provisioning systems, database, mainframe)Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systemsContribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirementsEvaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problemsPartner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutionsAct as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processesCollaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverablesCoordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teamsExecute SQL queries to support data analysis and reportingManage and transform data using ETL processes; correlate and distribute data as neededProvide strategic insights and recommendations to improve access governance and system integration


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years experience using SQL query skills for data analysis and validation2+ years hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems

Experience with Agile processes and ceremoniesExperience with JIRAExperience writing business and technical requirementsExperience with access provisioning systemsBackground in business continuity planning (BCP)Proven experience in change management and risk mitigation within SDLC frameworkFamiliarity with ETL processes and data transformation techniquesExperience working with cutover tools and coordinating system transitionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge of data governance and compliance frameworksAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience in enablement work related to vulnerability and risk management


Job Expectations:

Ability to work at one of approved locations in the job posting.Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days a week on-site/in office and 2 days a week remote
