Main responsibilities:

The Senior Technology Auditor will work with various business and technology leadership to 1) evaluate and report on risk management and control effectiveness across processes, systems and new company initiatives, and 2) advise and follow up on continuous improvements.  

This position reports to a Technology Audit Manager and will be based out of our Pleasanton, California corporate office.

Prepare review objectives, reviewing processes/systems to identify areas of risk and opportunities, and communicate findings and recommendations to management through presentations and reports.  Leverage technology/automation and data analytics in performing reviews. Work with management on determining corrective or improvement actions and monitor progress through completion.  Participate on various consultative initiatives to enhance organizational maturity. Champion an understanding of technology risks and controls with other risk groups and operational audit teams.  Liaise with external auditors as needed.  Maintain proficiency and current knowledge of professional standards, key audit and security frameworks, and risk and technology trends.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

Bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related field.  Advanced degree a plus. CISA, CISSP or other applicable professional certification. 2+ years of technology audit experience with a public accounting firm, or an internal audit or SOX department required. Experience reviewing complex business processes and related technology controls (e.g. security, privacy, change management and availability) with appropriate attention to detail.  Knowledge of recognized risk assessment approaches and auditing standards. Results-oriented team player with leadership potential. Demonstrated multitasker with strong critical, analytical, written and interpersonal skills. Drive for self and team development.

The salary range is $114,000 to $160,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
