What this job involves:

Manage all engineering and technical services, including inspections and quality management of MEPF equipment such as UPS, generators, plumbing and drainage systems, power distribution systems, and fire servicesDevelop and implement building procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification, accuracy of work methods, and reliability of systemsConduct daily checks on essential equipment to ensure that they are operating in a satisfactory condition at all timesEnsure all ad-hoc and preventive maintenance works are carried out efficiently and within the required timeframeCoordinate preventive maintenance activities according to the planned scheduleEscort and supervise third-party vendors and landlords during routine maintenance serviceReport on shift duties, including overnight shifts, as required. Remain on standby 24x7 for emergency call-outs and promptly report to client premises in Hong KongCoordinate appropriate actions for rectification, including preliminary analysis of faults and alarm incidentsImplement and manage risk and safety work practices to mitigate the risk of service interruptions to client operationsCoordinate with Building Managers and Business Units on project-related issuesCollaborate with building operations teams to establish and maintain best maintenance standards and practicesWork closely with the Engineering Manager to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP)Ensure all safety procedures, including crisis management, business continuity, and emergency procedures, are maintained at all timesEnsure all works comply with statutory regulations regarding fire, health, and safety standardsEnsure that service delivery teams and on-site contractors complete a Health and Safety Induction prior to deploymentMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, incidents, and repairs. Prepare and submit regular reports to management and clients as requiredMonitor and manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure availability for maintenance tasks

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

Holder of Higher Cert/Higher Diploma/Degree or above in Building, Mechanical, Electrical or Facilities Management with minimum 5 years’ experience in related disciplineHolder of Registered Electrical Workers(Grade A or above) is mustKnowledge of MVAC system, Fire system, Plumbing and Drainage system, Electrical system and BMS system.  Has experience in CRAC, UPS, Chiller plant or Critical Equipment/Data Center operations is preferableKnowledge of Occupational Safety requirementsStrong PC literacy and able to manage daily activities using various systems, such as BMS, and other computerized control/monitoring system5 working days per week on shiftLess experience will be considered as technician
