Electronics Lab Technician will work on a variety of industry-leading avionics from business, regional, and air-transport jet aircraft. Join our highly motivated team in a challenging and rewarding position that has outstanding advancement potential.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, maintain and troubleshoot electronic equipment, components, devices and systems working from schematics, engineering drawings and/or written/verbal instructions.
+ Sets up and operates standard or special test equipment.
+ Utilize predetermined methods, sequences and setups to inspect or test electronic equipment or products, recommend necessary modifications and adjustments to engineers.
+ Analyze, interpret, and record test data for engineering prototype and/or first article electronic/mechanical equipment.
+ Prepare reports, charts, graphs and schematics on developmental engineering equipment.
+ Document all electronic testing procedures and results.
+ Assist engineers with the development of new engineering processes and/or products to ensure their manufacturability.
+ May utilize various programming languages for product development or equipment control.
+ Interfaces with engineering related departments regarding program implementation which requires significant interpretation and discussion.
+ May provide technical support/instruction to less experienced electronics technicians.
+ Perform electronics technician tasks under general supervision, following standard procedures where judgment or choice is allowed within limits; instruction is provided for new procedures or special assignments.
+ Operate in accordance with Corporate, Operations, and Division policies, procedures and practices and in compliance with accepted business ethics.
+ Tracks, maintains inventory, ships and assists with audits of Customer owned property in accordance with government regulations.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
+ Must be able to work effectively with others as a team member.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds.
+ Active secret (DoD Clearance)
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Self-driven, customer focused, and willing to take responsibility.
+ Debugging and testing power supply circuits at the component level and knowledge in the use of applicable test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power sources.
+ Skills with breadboarding, soldering, and circuit board repair and fabrication.
+ Skills with reading and layout of schematic drawings and the ability to translate them into printed wiring boards.
+ Knowledge of DCSA guidelines on the shipping, storing and use of CCI.

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
